UNDERGROUND SHELTER – STORAGE / 3rd-7th century AD
There is an underground shelter in an area close to the northern fortification wall of the settlement built by carving the bedrock where 400 people can be temporarily sheltered. The underground shelter consisting of two parts has five ventilations and an entrance with a spiral staircase. The height of the shelter, each section of which is in the dimensions of 14×3,5 m., is 4,3 m. It is thought that the structure was utilized by local people engaged in agriculture in the wartime and as a food warehouse in times of peace.
